2026-08-04 Mitsubishi Electric Corporation “August 4, 2026: Technology developed to quantitatively evaluate the effects of introducing R&DCCU from both normal times and disaster situations. In collaboration with Professor Yasumasa Fujii and Professor Ryoichi Komiyama of the Department of Nuclear Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, we have developed a technology that can quantitatively evaluate the economic value of CCU, which captures CO2 and reuses it as a resource, from both the perspective of CO2 reduction effects in normal times and improved resilience in disaster situations.”
